Annorkoth (Russia)

So...let me introduce my band, Annorkoth, and I'm the only member of it. The name says something like "zero existence" or so. Releases are in various genres - some of them are atmospheric/depressive black metal (my main genre), and some are post-black metal/post-rock. I have already done lots of releases in 2011, that's because I have lots of free time and the same number of ideas. To be honest I don't like the sound of the first two full-lengths, The eternal coldness and Wind of death, but all changed when Silent Woods full-length came, it has sound that I like(d). So far I have done 7 splits with other projects this year (in many genres - dsbm, dark ambient, piano ambient) and 3 full-lengths (all 3 are instrumental), and 3 short demos.

Now the next release will be the full-length album "Annorkoth", it will be out in January 2012 and will be available for free download and also on tapes through Depressive Illusions Records (Ukrainian label). It will be an atmospheric/depressive black metal, with vocals & lyrics, dark and beautiful melodic riffs, ambient nature sounds etc. - quite serious stuff. It could be called as a debut full-length album, because previous 3 are instrumental demos (they have nothing to do with new beautiful stuff that I'm recording for Annorkoth 2012 ). Feel free to listen & comment, I hope you'll like my music.

I haven't listened to it yet (roomates lol) but I am happy to see another prolific artist in here. We suffer from the same syndrome (in my case, the only cool one), I too have the tendency to create many albums with my projects (sometimes multiple and simultaneous, now... not so much).

Thanks for the information, and most of all your passion, which is evident. I'll attempt a listen when the roomates are distracted (they lovingly tolerate my musical tastes but don't appreciate it very much at all, sort of mike parents really).

(I've noticed I write a lot in parentheses, it must be quite annoying).

Boleas, yes, I always doing everything by myself. Thank you for interest in my project!

But keep in mind that this will not be "Voids 2", it will be way too different (atmospheric depressive black metal). But, to be honest, there will be some shoegaze elements, to keep the melodies...

Hello guys, I have very good news, album is done, it was sent to Depressive Illusions Records. 100 tapes will be made. Also, album will be shared for free too in the beginning of January (1st). But if you really want to support my project be sure to buy the tape, this will be much appreciated! I will write a message here when the tapes will be ready, it will be somewhere on 25th of December or a bit later.

About the album - it's beautiful atmospheric/melancholic black metal with shoegaze parts, so quite experimental, you see. Atmospheres are - from autumn to winter.
