Blood of the Black Owl

I discovered this band by chance.

Love their utilisation of nature sounds, somehow different than when I hear it used by other bands (say, like Moonsorrow). The native element (or whatever it is) works for them.

Like so many great bands, they deserve more recognition. Interesting direction black metal is going in, it used to be all about satanism and death, more and more bands these days sound scary as hell while their imagery and lyrical themes revolve around ...well... things not normally considered black metal (spiritual healing?! lol, I love it).

Yes, there is a kind of "aura" in their riffs, it's a weird mix between dark ambient and depressive black metal, it sounds very nice and interesting ! Thank's a lot for sharing good music

I was actually surprised by their sound somewhat, I didn't expect them to be depressive or that raw sounding. I literally found out about them last week, which explains my lack of knowledge about them.

...or possibly just laziness, lol
