Post-Punk + Black metal

Hey,

I do remember listening to quite a few bands that successfully mixed Post-Punk elements with Black Metal.
An example would be Onryō:

A band that dissapeared as quick as it appeared. Unfortunately that does count for so many bands that did this kind of style. Not to mention Amesoeurs...
My question is, are there any more bands like this that are still active or did the whole genre/idea of it die?

Would be so cool to hear some new stuff that sounds like the song in the link I posted.

yeah, onryo is dope. i am not much of a drummer, but when i do play i use a lot of d beat

It really depends on what you mean by mixing post punk & black metal !
If you really mean pure post punk with random black metal, I guess it does not exist... Amesoeurs should be the closest band... in a way I guess.

But still, interesting question!
