Alcest - Shelter

As you may know, Alcest is going to release their fourth album on January, the name will be "Shelter" 

What are your expectations for this record?

Not expecting much.

Why?

Also, the name itself,  "Shelter", doesn't sound convincing.

These definitely sound better for me:

Souvenirs d'un autre monde (Memories of Another World);
Écailles de Lune (Moon Scales);
Les Voyages de L'Âme (The Journeys of the Soul).

I hope I'm wrong and that release will blow my mind. >.<

I guess it's definitely not enough to have a concrete opinion and have a look at the tracklist sounds amazing!

I'm sure I will enjoy it, and indeed the two new songs they played when I saw them live sounded quite nice. That said, I wouldn't be at all surprised if I like it less than Écailles and Souvenirs.

I'm curious how the guest appearances will work out. I had the chance to speak with Neige after the show and he was exclaiming about his collaboration with Neil Halstead, which should be rather interesting. Also, I've heard some of the songs are sung in English...

I think guest appearances are in english but then Neige will still sing in french  

By the way I met Neil before his french gig and we talked a bit together about his collaboration with Neige it was funny ! This guy is awesome and I really can't wait to hear his featuring with Alcest

I'm sure that it will be a great album, thought I doubt that it will top Souvenirs or Ecailles.

"Opale" is surprisingly good.
