Zahed (Lebanon)

It's not really a band, it's my project! I haven't received much comments about what I've done, so maybe here I'd hear some feedback, whether negative or positive, it doesn't matter, however I am expecting more negative opinions but anyway I am proud in what I've done with my severe limitation of both equipment and knowledge!

I only have an electric guitar which worth 100$, with an amplifier without distortion, so I kinda used Sound Forge to apply some distortion, I have no drum-set of course, so I used a free simple drum machine, there are no bass guitar tracks because I don't have a bass guitar, the only good thing I have is a decent microphone which my friend borrowed me to record vocals tracks, so you can say that my vocals are the only good thing (along with lyrics which are based on my poems) that I consider to be recorded in this demo (they are also free of effects, I really wanted to be "true" to myself), I am also a terrible guitarist so...

Zahed means something like cynicism, the demo is called "An Abused Brutality", the 4 songs begin in autumn and ends on a summer sea shore, so they can be seen as a one track, the final track is a bit different which is non-metal! Lyrics are in Arabic, French and English (and by the way, they refused to add my project to MA because they considered it to be more noisy/ambient than BM)
