You're lucky!
Have you watched Trist and Lifelover (or whatever they call themselves) as well?
I did see the
Lifelover performance. It was more of a memorial show for B, they set up a few chairs on stage, which at first seemed strange, but when the musicians entered the stage the reason become quite clear. Some of them where already in tears. They only played one Lifelover song, "
Besatt", the rest was new creations, which sometimes felt even more depressing and atmospheric than actual Lifelover. In their condition they played a respectable 1 and a half hours with small pauses.
Most of the crowd just clapped after each song, no screaming or anything, except for a few ignorant french people (no offence to any french people here) who where screaming all the time, until we bullied them out. Some people threw beer cups, one hit my head pretty hard. After the concert some people yelled at the session guitarist, calling him "fag" and "emo". He gave them the middle finger. When I went outside I overheard a few people talking about how they "wasted 22 €". Some people just don't understand.
I didn't watch the
Trist performance, I don't know any of their songs and I hold a bit of a grudge against them, because they have the same name as a German project I like very much.
Also I had a hard time standing up, since I've been standing since
Hypothermia played and needed a time out.
The performances of
Heretoir and especially of
Fäulnis were incredible. Anyone who doesn't know Fäulnis should check them out.
