(Unsure if this post should be here or in the Narcotic(s) thread, but...)

Two days ago, Lugubrious Awakening (drummer, and musical partner for Mourning Woods), Misanthropic Necroblasphemy, and I had a therapeutic session on Mount Orford involving the chemical 3-MeO-2-Oxo-PCE. It was the first time that I have ever gone hiking in my life, a personal accomplishment I am very happy to have experienced.

We began the hike while already under the influence of 3-MeO-2-Oxo-PCE, and it was a constant presence all the way up and all the way down the mountain. I doubt that many other people could have done the same thing without being seriously hurt in the process. It's a good thing we're all Black Metal, otherwise we could have been hurt.

We avoided all of the trails, avoided people, so we were directly climbing the mountain (high as fuck) itself.

3-MeO-2-Oxo-PCE is a strange chemical, a dissociative substance which also has an existential twist. Only opiates have given me the ability to appreciate things like sunlight and nature, and the connections between yourself and the rest of the universe. Normally I despise such concepts, but 3-MeO-2-Oxo-PCE makes it possible and enjoyable.

The three of us bonding in the forest seems as if it were just another facet of band practice, as if this is what we do now. Band practice is more than creating music with each other, it's also about solidifying the friendship that already exists between us, being a few individuals who understand each other more than anyone else.

I felt the blood of my ancestors as I made my way through the forest. I felt a connection between myself and the natural world I used to hate. So much of the scenery was like stepping into an Alcest album cover (much to the disappointment of Misanthropic Necroblasphemy, lol).

There is not many experiences that give you the sort of satisfaction you get when you arrive at the top of a sun-soaked mountain, screaming into the distance, laying on the rocks and looking up at the sky which seems so close you could jump into it.

Good days happen so rarely, that I am surprised they still exist sometimes. I appreciate every moment spent, and also my friends who basically took care of me and provided for me in order that I may experience this with them.

It won't be the last time.

3-MeO-2-Oxo-PCE is a miracle. I thank God for it.

I wouldn't reccommend that anyone try what we did. While we aren't experienced mountain climbers, nor stuntmen, we are Black Metal to the fullest which gives us an advantage over the other douchebags who thought it would be cool to smoke a joint on the mountain top.

Looking for a challenge? Here... sniff this Wink hahahaha

All in all, a great time, and wonderful band practice:)

This is strange to me. Granted, I haven't experimented much with drugs outside of a few choice instances, but I've never had a problem appreciating something as simple as sunlight and nature with or without drugs.

This. How do you normally perceive those things, (if you don't mind my asking)?

I'm used to that one, lol. Yeah, I've always despised sunlight for many many years, and while I've always had an appreciation for nature, it was usually limited to nocturnal forestry and shit like that. Through some sorts of drugs previously mentioned, I was surprised at how much I was able to tolerate sunlight and even love it; I just want to be in a field of flowers (poppy's? lol) under a canopy of blue sky with golden sun dripping down (see little girl on the cover of that Alcest album Wink ). Unfortunately, when the effects of those drugs are gone, that emotion fades and I'm left with only the memory of that happiness (until I redose). Sucks, but its better than nothing :p .

If you're asking me, the answer is very simple: ''as shit.''
